After first sharing King Josiah with my friends as a manuscript, they were at the same time impressed and amazed, as several asked me how I was able to write such an intriguing and brilliant novel. The truth is that aside from my knowledge of Josiah as a historical figure, and my willingness to write, I can take very little credit for the story itself as it was not so much a work of my imagination but flowed out from a much deeper place within. In this sense, I can say that I was merely “the pen in the hand of the writer”, as I literally watched the storyline unfold over time, and from beginning to end, was only given more of it as I was faithful to set the portions I could see to print… What came forth was a fascinating back story concerning the lives of 3 historic Judaen Kings, along with their contemporaries, bringing them to life in every vivid detail as real people.
