Four Seasons of Cabin Cooking

There's nothing like spending time at a cabin in the north: sitting on the jetty during the nightless summer nights, cleaning the autumn mushroom harvest on the deck, sipping hot chocolate as the snow glistens and gathering the first wild herbs for a fresh salad straight from surrounding nature. These simple moments are nothing short of happy-making.

Spending time at the cabin is both magical and extremely relaxing. Sometimes we'll head there with family or friends, and other times for some much-needed me-time to recharge and dive into a book. Even just a short stint gives a boost for continuing with the daily humdrum. For us, food makes spending time at the cabin that bit extra special. There's excitement in the air when we're packing, thinking about the opportunity to wind down and planning the delicious meals we'll get to enjoy.
