DOGGIE OF SIDE STREETS

The downtown clock peels five chimes.Doggies tummy feels hungry. Doggie quickens his pace as his paws race him toward the scent of roast beef drifting through the west door of Mistress Missus kitchen carrying the promise of a very excellent supper. At bedtime, curled in a warm drowsy ball against the north wall of 1 Corrugated Box,beneath the porch lamps full amber beam, Doggie welcomes goodnight dreams. Doggie, the delightful inhabitant of 1 Corrugated Box,in the quaint village of Side Streets pauses to visit with his friends and observe exciting events as he traipses through the seasons fall, winter, spring and, summer.
