Tarmo Pikner

Tarmo Pikner is an Estonian writer best known for his "Piibutubakas" trilogy. The trilogy consists of the books "Erwin's Equation" („Erwini võrrand“), "The Saga of Josef and Miili" („Josefi ja Miili saaga“), and "Millennium Night" („Millenniumi öö“). It represents a unique literary journey blending the author's personal memories with fiction, creating nostalgic atmospheres and deeply personal narratives.

The final part of the trilogy primarily takes place in Saaremaa, especially Kuressaare, during the 1990s, which imparts a strong sense of place and authentic period atmosphere to the work.
