Sass Henno is an Estonian writer and film director, best known for his novel "Mina olin siin. Esimene arest" ("I Was Here. The First Arrest"). This book, which explores youth subcultures, violence, and drug use, won the 2004 novel competition. In 2008, a feature film was released based on the novel.
Henno has also published works such as "Elu algab täna" ("Life Begins Today"), "Vanaema" ("Grandmother"), and "Mereröövlimäng" ("The Pirate Game"), which address social and psychological themes. He is actively involved in raising awareness of social issues and leads the NGO Julge Rääkida (Dare to Speak), which focuses on raising awareness about sexual violence.
