Laur Lomper

Laur Lomper is an Estonian musician, composer, and writer whose creative work spans from music to literature. Known for his versatile and sensitive artistic nature, Lomper expresses himself through both sound and words. He has composed music for theatrical productions, written songs, and performed as a musician, but in recent years he has increasingly gained attention in the literary world as well.

In 2024, he co-authored a poetry collection with actor Tõnu Oja titled “Vahi kuue paiku vahi kuue paiku. Vaata umbes kell kuus valvuri pintsaku paranduslappe” (roughly translated: “Around Six O’Clock Look. Around Six O’Clock Look. Notice the Guard’s Jacket Patches Around Six.”). The collection brings together lyrical ballads and poetic reflections, offering a distinctive and playful literary work where the absurdity of life meets poetic language and musical rhythm.
