Jaak Aru is an Estonian medical scientist whose career has been diverse and international. In addition to his medical profession, Jaak Aru has published several books. Megaliitide mõistatused" (2022) is an interactive guide to the mysteries of ancient megalithic structures, offering readers new perspectives on the origins and significance of these constructions.

In 2024, he published "Alla 65 keelatud", a book that explores the lives and challenges of older adults, providing insights, advice, and reflections on the role of seniors in society and coping with aging.
