Eno Raud

Eno Raud is one of the most famous writers in Estonian children's literature, whose works have delighted generations of young readers. His books are characterized by diversity, depth, and a space for imagination. Eno Raud has written over 50 children's books, each carrying his unique charm. From short stories for toddlers to engaging full-length works, he has created unforgettable stories filled with adventure, fantasy, and valuable life lessons.

His most renowned works include the fairy tale-inspired Sipsik stories and the adventurous tales of Naksitrallid (Three Jolly Fellows). Sipsik has become a beloved character for many children, and a film adaptation of Sipsik and Anu’s adventures has been produced. The Naksitrallid stories have also captivated readers worldwide, with Sammalhabe, Kingpool, and Muhv's charming tales translated into 18 languages.

Beyond books, Eno Raud adapted folklore for children—his "Kalevipoeg" is a child-friendly retelling of Estonia's national epic.
