Ellen Niit

Ellen Niit was a beloved Estonian writer and poet whose work has left a profound mark on Estonian children's literature. Niit began her literary career in 1954 with the poem "Kuidas leiti nääripuu", followed in 1957 by the innovative and popular "Rongisõit".
