Stanislaw Brzozowski and the Polish Beginnings of Western Marxism

A study of the ideas of the Polish philosopher and literary critic, Stanislaw Brzozowski (1878-1911), in the context of the history of 20th century Western and Eastern thought. Walicki argues that Brzozowski anticipated Lukacs and Gramsci with his challenge to orthodox Marxism.
