Triple bill of early 1960s sci-fi drama series. Produced by 'Doctor Who' creator Sydney Newman, the trilogy of Pathfinders shows - 'Pathfinders in Space', 'Pathfinders to Venus' and 'Pathfinders to Mars' - are often seen by critics as a precursor to the success of 'Doctor Who'. Starring Gerald Flood as Conway Henderson, each series follows the adventures of a team of 'pathfinders' who are sent to the Moon, Venus and Mars to try and expand mankind's knowledge of space. Inevitably, the pathfinders find themselves dealing with unanticipated threats and unknown creatures.
