Jamie Meek thought he understood life. School was dull, he was bullied and his family - what was left of it - argued. Then he met Dr Sylver, a school librarian who seemed to know, well, everything. His world turned upside down. He finds himself in the Repository of the Past, a building made of stone, jewel and whisper.
