Out of Time

Almost every experience we have tells us that time must exist. This book aims to make the absence of time thinkable. Beginning with an examination of the 'folk' concept of time, it explores the implications this has for our understanding of agency and the extent to which our best physics and metaphysics are compatible with a timeless reality.
