Rachel Stark at Disney Hyperion has acquired, at auction, in a six-figure deal, Darianne Schramm's debut novel, 72 Hours of You. Aimed at fans of John Green and They Both Die at the End, the tragically romantic YA follows Sydney, a sarcastic nihilist with the heartbreaking ability to see when someone has less than 72 hours to live, as she falls for Peter, the annoyingly cute and optimistic boy who changes how she sees life—and death. Publication is scheduled for summer 2026; Jennifer Azantian at Azantian Literary Agency did the deal for North American rights.
