Waking up-alive-in the hospital with my brother weeping over me is the moment that everything changes. He has me committed to Harlow Sanctum, an unusual rehabilitation center with unorthodox methods and a storied past. There, I meet my roommate, a man with cruel eyes and a sense of humor even more morbid than my own. We're strangely drawn to each other.
