Angel of Justice

This sequel follows the progress of Mavis into the legal profession as an articled clerk and we see the clients she represents and witness the cases she deals with. Arnold Pigg dips his toe into the intriguing pool which is Whitehall and samples top quality food and a few other delights. George spends some of his inheritance upon a new house for himself and Mavis to live in but will he ask her to marry him? Their friends also have potential partners and together they all meander romantically towards the inevitable trial and who knows what else?
