FRANCO ZECCHIN

Continent Sicile. Franco Zecchin was active in Sicily from 1975 to 1994, the years of turmoil there created by the infamous Mafia wars . However Zecchins eyes and lenses were caught by the contrasting life experiences of the population of this extraordinary island. His pictures display the obvious tension that existed for people attempting to lead normal lives at a time when brutality and murder surrounded them on a daily basis.
