The discovery of the Kadriorg cog is an important milestone in Estonian maritime archaeology and undoubtedly a landmark find in the history of Tallinn as a Hanseatic city. This medieval merchant ship, the remains of which were discovered under Kadriorg during construction work on 22 May 2015, is a long-awaited find. This book brings together the results of the research conducted on the Peetri wreck, providing for the first time a more comprehensive overview of the ship’s discovery, background, construction, findings, conservation and exhibition.
The book has been published in cooperation with the Estonian Maritime Museum and the Estonian National Heritage Board.
